Houston Chronicle: Safety concerns land junk landmark in heap of trouble

AUSTIN — The Cathedral of Junk has withstood 21 years of Texas weather, thousands of visitors and some unhappy neighbors, but now the backyard tourist attraction could be headed for the scrapyard.
